So yesterday, I had my first appointment to confirm the pregnancy. I'm due March 28, according to the dr. (March 26 according to me.) Gave lots of blood, answered questions, blah, blah, blah ...
I also, in a bit of spontanaity, told Gabe. His reaction: "You're kidding, Momma, right? You don't have a baby growing in your tummy!" He started giggling. He thinks this is the funniest thing, and he keeps asking me at random moments if I really have a baby in my tummy.
Last night Gabe told me he thinks it's a girl, and we should name her Alice. I have not-the-slightest idea where that came from, and I'm sure it won't be the last idea we hear.
I've also started to pooch out. Where did that come from? I guess after having a couple of kids, most everything is pretty stretched out already.
On a completely different note, I took Wednesday off for a Mommy/Gabe Day. We went to Bay Beach, the toy store, the Outagamie County Fair. He had a grand time, and was exhausted by the time we started the drive home. This morning at breakfast, he asked me if we could have another Mommy/Gabe Day soon. So, I guess I should consider our day together a success.
